Maricopa County - Fastest Growing County in the United States
Recently the U.S. Census Bureau published their latest stats noting that Maricopa County was the fastest growing county in the United States in both 2006 and 2007.

According to their latest population estimates, this influx of new people has brought our population to nearly 4 million.
Over the past several years, the Phoenix area has had a net migration of approximately 110,000 people per year, with this most recent census finding a net increase of about 102,000 people between 2006 and 2007. It was noted that as of July 1, 2007 there were 3.9 million people living in Maricopa County (with approximately 39% of growth coming from state to state migration).
The Census Bureau also stated that Pinal County was the nation's 3rd fastest growing county - with 31,000 new residents - it grew by 11.5 percent over 2006.
The report went on to project that Maricopa County will have a population of 5 million within the next 10 years. Obviously real estate won't be dying out any time soon!!
